Day 4: Belek to Manavgat

After a few kilometers cycling the atmosphere and the surrounding totally changed. There's not much left of all the luxury resorts. Here, it's markets, bazaars, small shops, teahouses, craftmen doing their job partially on the sidewalk.

I walked into a shop with Yufka leaves in the shop window hoping to get börek or something like that. But the ladies only made the Yufka dough and leaves... too bad.

They showed me their manufacture - it was definitely them ruling it!

At the end they wanted to give me raw börek ... until they realized that I'm on a bike and wouldn't be able to prepare them. So sweet 💕

It's getting calmer on the roads, though this area is known for classic daytrips as for example rafting on the river Köprüçayr. But it has calm spots as well...

Perfect for a cooldown of my body whose temperature felt just a bit higher than normal due to climbing in the sun. I felt boiling! Luckily the water was pretty cold.

After 60 kilometers and two Ayrans later I stopped for some food. I decided to stay here and pitch my tent in this pretty nice spot...
